Let’s be real—one day just isn’t enough to celebrate the incredible women who shape industries, families, and friendships. So, let's celebrate the whole month? (Honestly, we deserve a lifetime, but we’ll start here!)
As a woman, mother, friend, and colleague, I wear a lot of hats—sometimes all at once, like a very determined, very caffeinated juggler. When I’m developing a new formula, I think about everything—from the tiniest ingredient to how the product will survive shipping, and of course, whether it’ll actually work once it lands in your hands.
But here’s the thing—no matter how much planning, testing, and double-checking I do, I can’t predict every outcome. (If I could, I’d also be winning the lottery every weekend.) Challenges pop up. Risks exist. And through some pretty tough years—like launching a manufacturing facility, only to later make the heart-wrenching decision to close it—I’ve learned one huge lesson: we don’t have to do this alone.
The idea of women supporting women isn’t just a nice catchphrase—it’s a powerhouse of possibility. I’ve been lucky to work with some truly amazing women who see collaboration as an opportunity, not a competition. In fact, I currently work with two incredible, women-owned manufacturing facilities, and we’ve built a relationship to help each other.
We show up for each other.
We respond promptly to calls for help.
Sometimes, the biggest help is just knowing someone has your back.
Success—whether in business or life—isn’t a solo mission. It’s about lifting each other up, listening, learning, and showing respect. My business thrives because of trust, community, and the belief that when one of us rises, we all do.
And the best part? My kids are watching. They see this network of support and will grow up knowing that asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s a strength. That working together creates more opportunities than going it alone.
So, here’s to women, not just today, but every single day. Here’s to building, supporting, and celebrating each other—because together, we’re unstoppable.
